When you confirm the fact that you are still under warranty and you decide to get your Xbox 360 repaired through Microsoft, you just have to contact them with your details.
Microsoft will then send you a box with the proper packaging materials and instructions on how to package your broken xbox 360, and then give you the mail shiping label so you can send it back.
Due to so many Xbox 360′s needing repairs Microsoft no longer sends the box. They do however send instructions and the postage is still paid for. Depending on the load of Xbox 360 Repairs they have to perform, they may send a box for your Xbox on certain occasion.
You will get your Xbox 360 back within 6-8 Weeks (Depending on how many Xbox 360 Repairs they have during that time)
Note: There is no guarantee that your Xbox 360 will not break again, so if your Xbox 360 breaks and you are no longer on warranty, your best bet will be to learn Xbox 360 Repair.
